Graphic design

As the sole graphic designer in the Product Development Dept. I handled design and art direction for decals, color ways, and all graphic elments on over 50+ products over my 6 years at Radio Flyer.

I aquired the ability to create 3D models, photo realistic renderings, and an intimate knowledge of how to create graphics for complex surfaces, moving parts, and multiple materials.

SPECIALITY APPLICATIONS

I had to creat designs that worked for IMD (In Mold Deco) and IML (In Mold Labels) application for both blow molded and injection molded pieces, like these scooter decks.

COMPLEX PARTS & SURFACES

In addition to keeping the design trendy and kid friendly, I also had to make sure design elements accomodated complex, moving surfaces, and implied movement on otherwise static elements.

colors, materials & finishes

I also oversaw quality control on client collaborations with both Tesla and Star Wars. Each of the respective miniatures had to meet the highest standards in terms of recreated colors and finishes.

environmental

When the 100 year old Radio Flyer Headquarters were being renovated, I was asked to help with some of the design. This included signage and a rehabbed vintage delivery truck.

When we debuted the Star Wars Landspeeder at San Diego Comicon, I designed the booth remotely to scale in CAD, and assembled it for the first time at the event with complete success.
